New Ministry of Justice data says only 13% of those arrested in the London riots were gang members.

The Eurozone crisis has slashed the value of pensions by a tenth in the last month alone.

In 1913, the peak year of production, British miners dug 300m tonnes of coal. In 2010, China extracted 3.16bn tonnes.

The tooth fairy leaves £2.42 on average in the UK with London topping out at £5.10 and Hull at the bottom with 5p.
